Short description of the municipal partnership project

The expected environmental effect is a 10% reduction in the volume of untreated wastewater discharged into the Dniester River.

The project’s goal is to improve the water supply and wastewater treatment system in the municipalities along the Dniester River and improve the ecological status of the Dniester River. The project also aims to reduce the harmful effects on the environment and public health by providing residents of the municipalities along the Dniester River with quality drinking water.

The main objective is to upgrade and equip the system of new treatment facilities to get economic benefits. The project will improve the state of community service for water supply, wastewater removal, and sewerage.

The project plans to reconstruct (upgrade) treatment facilities in partner municipalities.
